The End

Most teams complete their seasons today. Putting aside the HRC match, (a big win will allow them to be playoff cannon fodder) the one match of importance this week is the JAM-Lakeside. JAM will need to get the Jim brothers eligible for city playoffs (should they make it). Unless they're on their death bed, it's hard to see them sitting this one out. It's a home match for JAM, and I would have to think they're prohibitive favorites. I give them about n 80% chance of winning, thus dashing the tiny playoff hopes of the Chancellor's Mob Squad.

The 5.0 division was decided long ago, and in 4.0 there is little drama remaining. DQ's, playoff eligibility and that last playoff berth are the only things of interest.

  2. HRC 4.5 has some real players that are capable of making a mark in City Playoffs. We will see. Copperfield seems the favorite.

Lakeside has been awfully quiet this year. The noise makers seem to be - MOB, Hurricanes and Black Sheep in 4.5. City should settle out some of the confusion.

  3. it's definitely good to see a new team in the playoffs. best wishes for hrc.
lakeside is quiet, because they lost their superstar ed hess to bumpup. but they still have the reminding core players. their record is 25-1 in regular season for pass 3 years. last year, mob squad was the biggest trash talker and didnt make playoff. it's deja-vu again this year. hurricanes are and will always be the most talked about team. they recruit year round and they set the bar for summer league. blacksheep had a good team two years ago. they were up 2-0 on the d-bags, but ended up losing 3-2, which would have put them in sectionals. their hot shot is davila. without davila, they will lose.

  7. The cartoon at the link you provided above was hilarious while also painfully true. 4 years in a row I got the same responses from USTA about my rating appeal. Finally, my crap results were enought to get bumped down only to have a crappy captain put me in a situation that gets me DQ'd. USTA sucks.

  10. LOL. Chancellors 4.5 fails again. As far as I can tell no 4.5 team from Chancellor's has ever made the playoffs. Guys, I'd suggest going with your standard plan of tanking back to 4.0 every other season.

  12. It's only a few trash talkers from Chancellor-Tuan that makes the entire team hated.

  13. Wonder why a guy who breezes through to the semis at the Coke in 4.0 is playing 3.5 league? Dornbos. Self-rated? Should be ashamed...who sandbags down to 3.5???

  14. Dornbos plays 4.0 league dickhead

  15. Ha. Is that you Dornbos? Check again dipshit...

Dornbos plays for the not-surprisingly undefeated (read: group of self-rated sandbaggers) LLTC-Expendables:

    4/19/12--Dornbos wins by default 0,0 (line 1 singles--3.5)
    5/3/12--Dornbos defeats Santiano 1,0 (line 2 singles--3.5). Line 2 no less!!
    5/17/12--Dornbos defeats Guzman 2,0 (line 1 singles--3.5)

    Any response bigmouth?

  16. Those scores don't look like sandbagging to me. You are still a dickhead.

  17. That's your response? Are you stupid or just blind? You said he played 4.0 League...clearly that's not the case. Your response is..."you're still a dickhead". What a fucking moron. You're either Dornbos or one of his teammates...either way you're a piece of shit.

Fucking sand baggers make me sick. Man up and play the level you're supposed to be playing instead of playing down like a little bitch.
