Help me out.

Friends of mine are asking me to recommend someone to teach their 7 year old son tennis. I feel like I should know who's a good pro for juniors, but I really don't have an educated opinion. Can someone with a ringing endorsement post it or email me at houstonleaguetennis@gmail.com? Thanks.

  1. sarosh would be a great candidate to teach your son. well, at least he thinks he is.

  2. Someone who is very affordable in the Bellaire area is Gray Sweetnam. I would think especially for a youngster as he really works on the fundamentals and technique.

  3. You might want to try Huber Tennis Ranch. They have permanent scaled down courts to accommodate the "quick start" program.

  4. I suggest Brian Smith at Copperfield Racquet Club. The Club has an unbelievable juniors tennis program and he is the best coach out there.

  5. Whatever you do, stay away from crazy Jose. I don't know if he is still teaching, but be aware of him under whatever name he is using now.

  10. Gary's a great teacher for kids. I'd go with him and since he's a freelancer (not associated with a club) he's very inexpensive. He teaches in the Bellaire area.
