  1. Does anyone know how to get someone's YER for prior years? Used to be on the Texas website but now it only gives 2011.

  2. Where is the womens schedule?

  3. Rumor has it that 2 of houstons teams will be missing key players in Raymond Martinez(4.5 Canes) and Sandwich Blaster(4.0 Good Guys) do to a a tournament in florida both plan to play. Will this affect either teams chances of making it to Sunday if true?

    1. It sure will! There will be no hooking involved unless Martinez decides to get a prostitute.

  4. Who knows? Missing players makes any team event tough to advance. Martinez is a tough singles player. I'm sure Sandwich Blaster adds depth to Good Guys.

  5. That's actually good news for Houston. No one wants a cheater to represent Houston. All you're going to hear is "that guy from Houston hooked me." Blast is actually the team that Houston is pulling for.

  6. Blast has some of the worst cheaters I have seen in adult tennis

    ReplyDelete
  7. No one will beat Adam Berry from the Blast. That guy never gives up and hits all out.

  8. I've never met Raymond Martinez. No idea if he's a hooker, but I do get the feeling it's the same person repeatedly making the accusation. There have been others accused here of cheating in the past, and most of those accusations had some validity, I think. But I really do wish that the accuser would have the balls to sign his name to this one. I think from now on I'll just delete the "Martinez is a hooker" comments, as they've become tired.

  9. Htown, let the people speak. His reputation is dictated by his actions. Next time, just look at the guy and see if anyone is hanging around him. NO ONE. That tells you alot about a person. Too bad most of the Hurricane players are good guys having to deal with this.

  11. This blog and league isn't about tennis. It's about grown ass punks who can't take losing. Based off his scores, looks like you should be his friend. And don't give me that bull about him cheating. 1 or 2 bad calls(if that's true) won't change the outle of the match based upon these scores!! Seems like a bunch of haters (bitches) to me.

    1. uh...one or two bad calls could definitely swing a tightly contested match...especially when bad calls usually occur on big points

    2. 5:43, You must be the dumbest person on this blog. 1 or 2 intentional calls will swing the entire match. Your comment is like saying, if you see $1000 dollars and you decide to take $1 or $2 dollars, no one will know. Well cheating is cheating and stealing is stealing, no matter the quantity. Tennis is a gentlemen sport, so you need to find so other hobby. Remember Sarosh, who was notorious for this, well we are all glad that he's no longer to be seen.

    3. You both sound like stupid juniors.. "mom, I lost 1 and 2 but he cheated me twice so thats why he won" you can cry all you want. This argument just shows your novice in the sport of tennis and lack there of skills! If someone calls them close STOP "hitting the line" with your amazing backhand!!! LMAO

    4. Htown is right, this blathering is coming from the same sad individual who constantly bashed and was jealous of others - Sarosh, Rios, now Raymond.

    5. Can't we all get along? I wouldn't take advice from HTown, he lacks balls too and his ethics isn't that high when captaining.

  12. How and where can I see the other cities' team results and player roster for sectionals 2012? I don't seem to be able to search beyond Houston 4.0 Leagues. I'm mainly interested in Men's 4.0 Dallas and Austin.

Thanks a lot for your help.

  14. 9:29...not true. From what I've seen the matches recently with Raymond have been called fairly so that just leaves Rios, who is off the radar and way over his head at 5.0, and Sarosh who thankfully stepped off the league stage after his massive ego was deflated. Sarosh is happy just cheating at friendly practice matches at the Met...Somebody has an axe to grind with Raymond but I would never speak ill of him he seems to be a stand up guy sorry I can't say the same for the other 2 suckers

  15. Obviously you did see Raymond's matches or have played him. Numerous people have witnessed his calls and a few were victims. He's such a good player who does not need to resort to cheating. Rios is kind of like Sarosh but Rios is more respected because he is known to be fair with the lines. It's nice to see him come out to watch the matches even though he's not competing.

  16. Rios might be 4.5 next year. Love him or hate him, he's a self-promoter and actually it's entertaining. This blog will be busy next year. 4.5 is where he should be but still don't know how he's getting bumped down, eventhough he's winning his 5.0 matches.

    ReplyDelete
  17. He's not good in 5.0. He's ok in 4.5

    ReplyDelete
  18. Rios is not a cheater.

  19. 4.5 Sectionals predictions?

    ReplyDelete
  20. SEMIS:
    Dallas beats Austin 3-2
    Fort Worth beats Houston 3-2
    FINALS:
    Fort Worth beats Dallas 3-2

    ReplyDelete
  21. Just noticed that Red Benzon 4.5 NOHO Team was left out of Sectionals, even trying to sabotage the Woodlands Pinto Team adding Jason Cooney and John Day to Walden Lake Houston. Good try Red!

  22. It will be Austin v Austin wild in one semis and San Antonio v Houston in in the other semis. If Austin has Bouffier they'll be up 1-0. He's in another class. San Antonio has Luis Hernandez who is a Juco 2012 National Champion. With it being over 100 degress in Dallas it will come down to who's phsically ready. I will predict Austin vs San Antonio final with it coming down to a supertiebreaker in a doubles line to take it all.

  23. What are the 4.0 sectionals predictions? Mob Squad has to be amongst the favorites.

  27. 2 days before sectionals and no talk about any disqualifications or any illegal players around the state?!?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Most of the Valley roster are Illegal(aliens).

    ReplyDelete
  29. No city really seems to be "going for it" this year in 4.5. There are a lot of decent teams but nothing outstanding and not as lop sided as years past. This should make sectionals fun and unpredictable, just like Houston was this year.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Austin and San Antonio are going for it. A lot of depth on both rosters.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Wow a day before sectionals start and no one is on here to say good luck to all the Houston teams going to Dallas. What a great tennis community we are... Good luck to all those going to Dallas this weekend or next!
