Help me out.
Friends of mine are asking me to recommend someone to teach their 7 year old son tennis. I feel like I should know who's a good pro for juniors, but I really don't have an educated opinion. Can someone with a ringing endorsement post it or email me at houstonleaguetennis@gmail.com? Thanks.

sarosh would be a great candidate to teach your son. well, at least he thinks he is.
ReplyDeleteSomeone who is very affordable in the Bellaire area is Gray Sweetnam. I would think especially for a youngster as he really works on the fundamentals and technique.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to try Huber Tennis Ranch. They have permanent scaled down courts to accommodate the "quick start" program.
ReplyDeleteI suggest Brian Smith at Copperfield Racquet Club. The Club has an unbelievable juniors tennis program and he is the best coach out there.
ReplyDeleteWhatever you do, stay away from crazy Jose. I don't know if he is still teaching, but be aware of him under whatever name he is using now.
ReplyDeleteAlfredo Rivera at Lost Forest
ReplyDeleteAlfredo at LF.
ReplyDeleteWhat part of town are they in?
Thanks for the suggestions. They live slightly inside the loop kinda' near West U.
ReplyDeletegary sweetnam and juan bravo teaches out of the west u area. both good guys.
ReplyDeleteGary's a great teacher for kids. I'd go with him and since he's a freelancer (not associated with a club) he's very inexpensive. He teaches in the Bellaire area.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a winner to me...Do you have his contact information? You can email it to me if you don't want to post it.
